Huawei has officially announced its new flagship device called the P50 and P50 Pro as earlier revealed. Both devices as expected, came running on the company’s own HarmonyOS 2 operating system. As per the specs, the Huawei P50 sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED display, with a resolution of 2700 x 1224 Pixels. The phone came powered by Snapdragon 888 processor, supported by a 4100mAh battery.
The Huawei P50 Pro on the other hand, has a slightly bigger 6.6-inch FHD+ curved OLED display, with a screen resolution of 2700 x 1224 Pixels. It is powered by the same Snapdragon 888 processor, but has a bigger 4360mAh battery capacity.
Detailed Specifications
Display And Design: The Huawei P50 was launched featuring a body dimension of 156.5 ×73.8 ×7.92mm, with a weight of 181 grams. It comes in Golden Black, Cocoa Gold and Pearl White colours and sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED screen with 90Hz refresh rate.
The Huawei P50 Pro which comes in Golden Black, Cocoa Gold, Pearl White and Charm Pink colours, has body dimension of 158.8 ×72.8 ×8.5mm, with a weight 195 grams. It has a 6.6-inch FHD+ OLED curved screen with 120Hz refresh rate.
Both smartphones came having a 1.07 billion color display that support 1,440Hz PWM dimming. It sports a punch-hole screen that houses a 13MP front camera, with the Pro version having a 100-degree field of view and autofocus.
RAM and Storage: The P50 comes packing an 8GB RAM with a storage option of 128GB and 256GB. The P50 Pro on the other hand packed an 8GB RAM with 128GB, 256GB and 512GB storage option, and a 12GB RAM with 512GB storage capacity.
OS and Processor: As for the OS, both the Huawei P50 and the P50 Pro comes running the latest HarmonyOS 2 straight out the box. The P50 and the 8GB RAM with 128GB version of the P50 Pro are both powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 888 processor. The higher variants of the P50 Pro comes powered by HUAWEI Kirin 9000 4G processor, supported with ARM Mali-G78 MP24 GPU,Dual Big Core + Tiny Core NPUs (Neural-network Processing Unit).
Connectivity: For the connectivity, they both support 4G, VoLTE for India users, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.2 LE,GPS (L1 + L5 Dual band), NFC, USB 3.1 Type-C (GEN1). Both variants also supports dual SIM connectivity.
