Apple unveiled the new iPhone 13 series as a successor to the iPhone 12 series. Just after the 13 series was announced, we saw a price drop in the 12 series. From the design, but phones look very similar and many have been asking if there is any need to go for an upgrade. In today’s post, we shall be making a side-by-side comparison of the two devices to see which is better and how they differ.

iPhone 13 Pro and 12 Pro Detailed Specs Comparison
Design and Display:
Both the 13 Pro and 12 Pro came featuring a 6.1-inch Full HD+ Super Retina XDR OLED display, with a resolution of 1170 x 2532 pixels. While 12 Pro has a dimension of 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.4 mm and a weight of 189 grams, the 13 Pro has a dimension of 146.7 x 71.5 x 7.7 mm with a weight of 204 grams. For this, you will see that the iPhone 13 Pro is thicker and heavier than the older iPhone 12 Pro model. On the front end of the phones, the 13 Pro featured a smaller notch, than the 12 Pro model.
Processor:
The iPhone 12 Pro came powered by the hexa-core Apple A14 Bionic chipset, clocked at a frequency of 3.1GHz. The 13 Pro got the new and improved Apple A15 Bionic chipset clocked at a speed of 3.22GHz. The A15 Bionic chipset is faster and more efficient when compared to the A14 Bionic chipset. So, the 13 Pro get a performance boost of up to 50 percent.
RAM and Storage:
Apple launched the 12 Pro with 6GB of RAM and a storage capacity of up to 512GB. The 13 Pro came with the same 6GB of RAM, but with up to 1 TB of internal storage. It could be seen that the iPhone 13 Pro has more storage than the 12 Pro model.
Cameras:
As for the cameras, both the 13 Pro and the 12 Pro features similar specifications. The only area of difference, is that the iPhone 13 Pro comes with a brighter focal apertures and also, a more advanced features for video recording with the introduction of ProRes and Cinematic mode with stereo sound.
Battery:
In the area of the batteries, the 13 Pro came with a 3125mAh battery capacity and offers a 20W fast charging and a 7.5W Qi wireless charging. The 12 Pro on the other hand, came with a 2815mAh battery capacity and offers a 23W fast charging with 7.5W Qi wireless charging.
