After unveiling the Galaxy A23 4G version few months back, Samsung Taiwan has confirmed that it will formally be introducing the Galaxy A23 5G on September 16. The device was previously leaked in a listing, which revealed its key specs. With the confirmation, we now know the price as well as other details.
According to details, the smartphone will be available in Samsung stores and retail partners in two memory variants. This will include the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and 6GB RAM and 128GB storage version. The 4GB RAM with 64GB storage version cost $298, while the 6GB RAM with 128GB version storage version cost $331.
As per the specs, the Galaxy A23 5G will feature a 6.6-inch LCD Infinity-V display, with FHD+ resolution. On the front of the phone will be an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. The back is expected to come with a 50MP main rear camera joined by 5MP ultra wide (f/2.2), plus a pair of 2MP macro and depth.
The phone will be available in orange, light blue, white and black colors. It is expected to run on Android 12 and OneUI 4.1 out of the box. The A23 5G version will pack a 5000mAh battery capacity, which is the same as the 4G version. It is said that customers who order the Galaxy A23 5G before October 15 will receive a free 15W Samsung charger free of charge.
