Vivo recently introduced two new entry-level smartphones tagged the Vivo Y18 and Y18e. The two new members of the ‘Y Series’, comes as a successor to Y17 and the Y17S. The phones feature a 6.56-inch HD+ 90Hz screen, with a resolution of 1612 × 720 pixels. It has a body dimension that measures 163.63×75.58×8.39mm, with a weight of 185 grams.
The phones are powered by Octa-Core MediaTek Helio G85 12nm SoC with 4GB of RAM and up to 4GB of virtual RAM. It comes in 64GB and 128GB storage option that can be expanded to 1TB using a MicroSD card. It run Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14, while packing a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. The Y18 comes fitted with a Side-mounted fingerprint sensor, while Y18e features face unlock.
For the cameras, the Vivo Y18 comes with a 50MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture with a 0.08MP secondary camera with f/3.0 aperture. The Y18e has a 13MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and with 0.08MP secondary camera with f/3.0 aperture. On the front, while the Y18 has an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture, the Y18e features a 5MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture.
