HONOR has launched the company’s latest mid-range 5G smartphone in the X series in China. Known as the HONOR X40, the devices comes sporting a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen. It has a 2400×1080 pixels resolution, 20:9 aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. Weighing 175 grams, the phone has a dimension of 162.9 × 74.5. × 7.43mm.
It comes powered by an Octa Core Snapdragon 695 chipset, supported with Adreno 619L GPU. It is available in 6GB, 8GB and 12GB RAM option with 128GB and 256GB storage options. The HONOR X40 runs on Magic UI 6.1 based on Android 12. It packs a 5100mAh battery with 40W fast charging.
The phone features an In-display fingerprint sensor, Type C audio and HONOR Histen 7.0 sound effect. For the connectivity, the phone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS and USB 2.0. On the front of the phone is an 8MP front-facing camera, while the back has a combination of 50MP rear camera and a 2MP sensor.
