Smartphone giant Samsung has officially announced its latest device called the Galaxy A24. This is coming after rumours of the phone surfaced on the internet. The device comes featuring a 6.5-inch FHD+ Infinity-U AMOLED display, with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and has a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a body dimension of 162.1 x 77.6 x 8.3mm, with a weight of 195 grams.
The Samsung Galaxy A24 comes powered by MediaTek Helio G99 processor and paired with up to 8GB of RAM. It has an internal storage capacity of 128GB that can be expanded up to 1TB using a memory card. The Galaxy A24 runs on Samsung One UI 5.1, which is based on Android 13.
On the camera side, the phone features a 50MP rear camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) technology and enhanced digital video (VDIS) at the back, this is combined with a 5MP ultra-wide-angle camera and 2MP macro camera. The front features a single 13MP front shooter. It has a Side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and supports Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz) VHT80, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS + GLONASS and NFC.
The phone packs a 5000mAh battery capacity that support 25W super fast charging, which is capable of delivering up to 50% fast charging in 30 minutes.
