Tecno has silently introduced a new smartphone in the Pop series into the Nigerian market. Known as the Tecno Pop 8, the mid-range device, which packed some amazing specs, is coming as a successor to the Pop 7 that was introduced earlier this year.
The Tecno Pop 8 comes featuring a 6.6-inch display, with a screen resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. It offers a refresh rate of 90Hz, with a 90.5% screen to body ratio. The phone has a body dimension of 163.69×75.6×8.55mm. It is powered by the UNISOC Tiger T606 Chipset that runs on the OUKITEL WP23 Pro and the Itel S23 smartphones.
The Pop 8 is available in 3GB RAM with 64GB storage, 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 4GB with 128GB storage option. They all offers virtual RAM option, while the storage can be expanded up to 1TB using a MicroSD card. It runs on Android™ 13 and packs a 5000mAh battery capacity with 10W Type-C charge.
The phone features an 8MP front selfie camera and a 13MP AI supported dual rear camera. It features a side mounted fingerprint sensor and supports 4G, Wifi, Bluetooth FM as well as GPS and OTG. The device also features Stereo dual speakers with DTS LISTEN.
