Itel is one of Transsion Holdings brand known for budgets phones with good specs. Its products are focus on three main areas which are Power or P series (with focus on Battery), Affordable or A Series (with focus on Price) and the Camera (S series with focus on Selfie).
Last year, we saw the company moving away from its usual 1GB RAM with 16GB of storage devices, to a 2GB RAM with 32 of storage option. One of such devices, was the Itel S16 series. Now, the company is adding a new member to the S series. Known as Itel S17, the phone is coming as a successor to the S16 launched last year.
From what we have seen so far, the S17 is expected to come with a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display. It will be packing a 5000mAh battery capacity. While not much was reviewed on the promo image, the device will be sporting a better camera set than the S16.
There are reports that the phone could come with 3GB of RAM, has 64GB of internal storage. It should be powered by a Quad-core Spreadtrum UniSoC SC9863A chipset. This will be supported with PowerVR GE8322 GPU. The processor speed is clocked at 1.3GHz.
For now, there is no word on the exact date of the launch. But we are expecting to phone to be made public this October. The full specs and details of the Itel S17 will be brought to you after the official launching.
