Samsung Galaxy M01 Gets Android 12 One UI 4 Update

Samsung Galaxy M01

Samsung has been rolling the Android 12 update to a new number of its devices. While many of the devices were expected, this new member came as a surprise. The Galaxy M01, an entry-level smartphone from Samsung that was introduced back in 2020 is the latest addition to the list. The device is currently getting the Android 12 and One UI 4.1 update.

The update includes the June 2022 security patch and carries firmware version M015GXXU4CVF6. Unlike the other devices, the Galaxy M01 update is coming as a stripped-down version of the UI. While the device will continue to receive security patches, this will be the phone’s last OS update. Currently, the Galaxy M01 in India (SM-M015G) is receiving the update, the international model (SM-M015F) should follow soon.

You can check and download the update by going to App Settings, locate “Software update,” and tapping “Download and install.” For those that prefer the manual process, you can search for a trusted website and download the Galaxy M01 Android 12 firmware
