Samsung via an online event, launched the Galaxy A33 5G alongside other devices. This is the cheapest and most affordable of all the smartphones announced. The phone comes featuring a 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U Display, with a screen resolution of 1080×2400 pixels. It has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, 90Hz refresh rate and have IP67 water and dust resistance.
The Samsung Galaxy A33 5G has a body dimension of 159.7×74×8.1mm and weights 186 grams. It is similar to the Galaxy A53 5G in design but differ in specification. Just like the A53 5G, the Galaxy A33 5G is powered by an Octa Core Exynos 1280 processor that is supported with Mali-G68 GPU. It is paired with up to 8GB of RAM and has up to 256GB of internal storage onboard. The storage can further be expanded up to 1TB using a memory card.
Running on Android 12 with Samsung One UI 4.1, the phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. It supports Samsung Pay, USB Type-C audio, Stereo speakers with sound by AKG and Dolby Atmos. For the security, the phone features an In-display Fingerprint sensor.
As for the cameras, the Galaxy A33 5G sports a 48MP main rear camera that support an f/1.8 aperture. This is combine with an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera that supports an f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture along with an LED flash. On the front of the device, is a 13MP front facing camera with f/2.2 aperture. For the connectivity, the phone supports 5G network, 4G network, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS + GLONASS, USB Type-C and NFC.

The Galaxy A53 5G comes in Black, White, Peach and Blue colour options. The phone is available for purchase at a price tag of $408 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version. The 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version is expected to sell at a higher price.
