Tecno Mobile, recently introduced a successor to the Spark 7, which was launched earlier in April 2021. The new device which is called Tecno Spark 8, features similar specifications as the Spark 7. The noticeable difference is just the new design and the battery size. Aside that, the phone is just a Spark 7 in a new body, having a smaller battery.

As for the spec details, the Spark 8 comes sporting a 6.52-inch dewdrop notch display with 720 x 1600 pixels resolution. The phone has a dimension of 164.8 x 76 x 9.2mm, and a weight of 190 grams. It has a plastic frame, plastic back and glass front and you can get it in Turquoise Cyan, Atlantic Blue and Iris Purple colour options.

The Tecno Spark 8 is powered by MediaTek MT6762V/WD (Helio P22), and comes paired with 2GB of RAM. The phone has an internal storage capacity of 64GB and this can be expanded up to 128GB using a memory card. It runs on Android 11 with HiOS 7.6, and has a 5000mAh battery capacity.

The device has a rear placed fingerprint scanner for security. One the camera side, it comes featuring an 8-megapixel selfie camera with dual LED flash, and a combination of 16-megapixel camera with a secondary AI depth sensor and four LED lights. The Spark 8 is a 4G LTE enabled phone.
