The Infinix Zero 5G is Infinix Mobility highest smartphone and its latest 5G enabled device in the market. It came sporting a 6.78-inch display, with a 1080 x 2460 pixels resolution. It is powered by the MediaTek MT6877 Dimensity 900 5G processor. It has a combination of 48MP main rear camera, 13MP telephoto and a 2MP optical zoom camera on the back. On the front, is a single 16MP selfie shooter.

When the phone was announced, it was blessed with Infinix own XOS 10 which is based on Android 11. Now the CEO of Infinix India Anish Kapoor confirms an Android 12 update is on the way. According the Infinix boss, the new firmware will be coming in August. Anish Kapoor wrote on his twitter saying;

Announcing ANDROID 12 upgrade on ZERO 5G. Roll-out in Aug’22.

Currently no word if other Infinix devices will get the Android 12 update.
